Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a K-12 educational setting serving a high population of students with autism and emotional needs. This full-time, contract role begins August 16 and extends through the school year, providing a meaningful chance to impact students' academic and behavioral progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to students unique needs.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff to promote positive behavioral supports and strategies school-wide.
• Provide ongoing training and support to teachers and staff to ensure effective implementation of behavioral programs.
• Collect and analyze data to assess student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide behavior protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold current BCBA certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in educational settings.
• Proven ability to work effectively with a high autism population and emotional/behavioral challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

• Position is based in Gaithersburg, MD.
