Job Summary:

ABC Supply Co., Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to manage and support our Workday Learning platform. As the LMS Administrator, you will play a key role in overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our LMS to support the learning and development needs of our employees. This role requires strong customer service skills and daily interaction with associates at all levels of the organization. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams—including HR, IT, Learning & Development, and branch associates—to ensure the

LMS is effectively leveraged to enhance both company-wide and individual learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

LMS Administration and Configuration

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Workday Learning platform.
  • Manage LMS settings, user accounts, roles, permissions, and access levels.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct routine system audits, and make recommendations for improvement.

Course and Content Management

  • Create, organize, and update learning paths, courses, and content within Workday Learning.
  • Ensure all learning materials are accurately categorized, tagged, and optimized for easy access.
  • Partner with content creators and instructional designers to upload, test, and maintain online courses.

User Support, Customer Service, and Training

  • Provide exceptional customer service and timely support for LMS users, including associates and managers.
  • Troubleshoot access issues and assist with navigation to ensure a positive user experience.
  • Respond to user inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and clarity, escalating issues as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training for users and administrators to maximize the effective use of the LMS.
  • Foster strong relationships with associates by serving as a trusted point of contact for learning and system-related needs.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Generate and analyze reports on learning activities, course completions, user engagement, and compliance metrics.
  • Ensure data integrity by regularly reviewing and updating user information and learning records.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends to support strategic learning initiatives.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Learning & Development, and branch associates to align LMS functionality with organizational learning goals.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and end-users to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
  • Work with vendors and Workday support to troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and stay informed on new LMS features.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date on best practices in LMS administration and Workday Learning developments
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and enhanced system functionality.
  • Lead and participate in LMS-related projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Education, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience administering an LMS, with at least 1 year of

hands-on experience in Workday Learning.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Workday Learning and LMS-related functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with associates at all levels.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to train and support users at varying technical skill levels.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of e-learning standards, such as SCORM and xAPI.
  • Experience with course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
  • Certification in Workday Learning or similar LMS platform.
