Pennsylvania Certified Organic (PCO) is seeking a strategic and visionary Executive Director to lead the organization into its next era of impact. With a dedicated team of approximately 40 staff, a $9 million budget, and national reach, PCO certifies and supports a growing community of organic farmers, processors, and handlers. The Executive Director will build on PCO’s strong foundation—recognized for its technical excellence, client service, and integrity—to expand its reach, foster innovation in certification services, and strengthen partnerships across the organic sector.
The ideal candidate will bring collaborative leadership, deep alignment with organic principles, and the ability to balance strategic vision with day-to-day management. This is a remote-based role, ideally located within 400 miles of Harrisburg, PA.
