We're seeking for a "Chemist" to work with a Pharmaceutical company

LOCATION: Arecibo PR
WORK SCHEDULE: Rotating shifts. Availability to work in 1st and 2nd shift
SALARY: $25 - $35 P/H

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
-Perform testing of laboratory samples from different sources in accordance with existing and applicable standards.
-Prepares and standardizes laboratory solutions for use in laboratory tests.
-Document all laboratory records that comply with applicable procedures and current good practices (GMP and DEA).
-Responsible for data entry into various systems such as laboratory instrumentation, LIMS and SAP.
-Resolving problems with methods and/or instruments when necessary.
-Perform laboratory investigations as part of the reporting of non-compliant results.
-Inform the supervisor of the status of the operation and report any unusual situation or problem.
-Laboratory waste management following EPA, JCA and internal protocols.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Completed Bachelor degree in Chemistry.
-Puerto Rico Chemist License is a MUST.
-At least one (1) year of laboratory experience.
-Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, DEA, Safety, EPA and OSHA regulations and rules.
-Bilingual.
-Knowledge on HPLC, GC and Dissolution as well as their acquisition system as Empower 3.
-Knowledge of Complex Laboratory Investigations, root cause analysis as 5Whys, Fish Bond, 6W2H.
