Overview Activity Director Opportunity at Zionsville Meadows Assisted Living We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and organized Activity Director to plan, develop, and implement engaging recreational programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for working with Seniors, and a talent for creating diverse and meaningful activity offerings. Responsibilities Plan, develop, and implement engaging recreational programs for residents. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Activity Assistants to offer age-appropriate activities. Create engaging activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities. Foster a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents. Balance daily schedules, resident needs, and activity prep with effective time management. Collaborate with departments, professionals, consultants, and organizations including government regulatory agencies. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; and two years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting or satisfactory completion of an Activities Director training.
