Overview:

We’re seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Software Engineer to join a fast-paced product team building transformative tools for the retirement and financial services industry. You’ll take the lead on integrating our Trust Accounting (TA) platform into our flagship CRM (CX) product , helping shape the technical architecture, mentor junior engineers, and play a pivotal role in guiding product direction and execution.

This role is ideal for a senior-level full stack developer who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys solving big-picture problems, and is ready to grow into a technical leadership role .

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical integration of the TA platform into the CX product.
• Design scalable, maintainable architecture and drive the implementation of features in Go, Python, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to define requirements and shape solutions.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and contribute to team growth.
• Work across the full stack, with a strong emphasis on backend development, but with experience in or openness to frontend development using React/TypeScript .
• Operate effectively in a fast-moving, unstructured startup environment with evolving priorities.
• Take ownership of features from ideation to deployment—making things happen, not waiting for perfect specs.

Required Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of experience as a full stack software engineer.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) and strong experience with Python and JavaScript .
• Hands-on experience with UI development using React and TypeScript (highly preferred).
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives , mentor peers, and take ownership of large projects.
• Demonstrated experience working in startup or entrepreneurial environments .
• Comfortable navigating unstructured, evolving requirements and shaping the product roadmap.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in migrating legacy systems into modern architectures.
• Background in retirement, financial services, insurance , or working with TPAs (Third Party Administrators) .
• Familiarity with document processing systems and CRM solutions.
• Prior experience integrating or modernizing on-prem systems .
