About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee maintenance operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This position combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with team leadership to ensure equipment reliability, compliance with safety standards, and minimal production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise the maintenance team to meet daily production and facility goals.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment across multiple systems, including:
  • Electrical: 3-phase power, drives, print reading.
  • Electronics: Analog/digital, component-level repair.
  • PLC Systems: Siemens, Allen Bradley, ladder logic, programming.
  • Instrumentation: Equipment calibrations.
  • Mechanical: Pumps, conveyors, drives, rebuilds.
  • Hydraulics & Pneumatics: Print reading, equipment rebuilds.
  • HVAC & Boilers: Ammonia/Freon systems, chillers, furnaces, high/low pressure boilers.
  • Welding & Fabrication: MIG, TIG, stick, plasma cutting, brazing.
  • General Building Maintenance: Lighting, roofing, compressors, fire/sprinkler systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to maintenance and equipment.
  • Collaborate with production and operations leadership to minimize downtime.
  • Lead by example, train, and develop maintenance staff.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred .
  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical trades (vocational training may substitute for 2 years).
  • Previous experience supervising a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills across multiple systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office .
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to perform physical job requirements (lifting up to 100 lbs., crouching, standing, squatting, working in cold environments).
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to legally work in the United States.
