About the Role

Buffalo Solar is looking for a driven and curious individual to join our growing team as a Renewable Energy Analyst . In this role, you'll help design, analyze, and support the development of commercial solar energy systems.

Youll work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operations teams to evaluate energy data, design preliminary solar layouts, and help prepare client-facing proposals. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a more technical role in solar energy and is eager to make a meaningful impact in the renewable energy space.

What Youll do

• Analyze energy usage and billing data to inform system design and ROI modeling
• Design preliminary solar PV systems using Helioscope and other software tools
• Collaborate across departmentsincluding sales, engineering, and operationsto align technical details with customer goals
• Prepare technical inputs for customer proposals and internal hand-offs
• Learn and grow into more advanced roles in system design and engineering over time

• Background in engineering, energy, environmental science, sustainability, or related field (degree or equivalent experience)
