Neural Circuits in Glucose Homeostasis
Post-doctoral fellowship is available at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Research will focus on identification and characterization of neural circuits that regulate glucose levels during normal physiology and in metabolic disease. Projects will utilize mouse models and techniques like viral tracing, chemogenetics, optogenetics, electrophysiology, confocal and 2-photon microscopy, behavioral studies, single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptomics. Prior neuroscience research experience using mouse models is required. Applicants should have received their Ph.D. within the past two years. A current C.V. with three references should be sent to:
