Medical Records Specialist

Location-Pahoa

Pay Rate-$19.50-$23.04 (Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience)

About the Role:

Reporting to the Health Services Manager and Medical Records Supervisor, the Medical Records Specialist is primarily responsible for managing electronic patient records, processing medical record requests, and supporting data collection efforts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required -High school diploma or equivalent
• Required -One year of related clinical office experience and/or training
• Preferred -At least one year of Medical Records Experience

Responsibilities:

• Maintains electronic patient files and scans all patient data upon receipt.
• Responds to requests for medical records; processes letters and reports; answers and directs telephone calls.
• Retrieves and distributes lab, radiology and specialist reports to physicians requests information from various departments; responds to correspondence requests.

Skills:

Seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to manage electronic patient files, process medical record requests, and assist with data collection. Must be organized, reliable, and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and accuracy.
