Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

As an Entry-Level Outside Solar Appointment Setter, your primary role is to connect with homeowners directly at their doorstep, introducing them to an affordable alternative power solution. Through these face-to-face conversations, you'll educate families on how they can gain greater peace of mind for their family’s home power needs at the most affordable price-point. What we DON’T want: some door-to-door salesman that is aggressively trying to get someone to make a buying decision. Your ultimate goal doesn’t involve them buying anything at all. Our objective is simple: we want to educate them and set an appointment for an experienced Solar Consultant that will be able to enroll them in the program that best serves their financial and electrical needs.

Excelling in this position requires the ability to build quick rapport in-person, establish trust, and effectively communicate our value—all within a short, yet meaningful door-to-door interaction. Your persistence, professionalism, and product expertise will allow you to develop a strong pipeline of potential customers, turning cold leads into lifelong clients.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Engage in daily door-to-door prospecting to increase awareness and education of our affordable, high-quality Solar Solution.

  • Work around homeowners' schedules, focusing on afternoon and evening availability to maximize engagement.

  • Educate homeowners on the long-term benefits of Solar as an alternative to their current Power Provider.

  • Participate in daily sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring strong relationships through regular follow-ups.

  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Participate in travelling Sales Opportunities as they become relevant.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • No experience in Sales? No worries! While prior sales experience is beneficial, we offer comprehensive training to ensure your success.

  • Not intimidated by knocking doors to generate residential Solar leads.

  • Ideal for entry-level candidates! Recent high school graduates and college students are highly encouraged to apply.

  • Must be adaptable and resilient, able to handle frequent rejection while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

  • Full-time commitment required (9-hour shifts). Must be able to adapt to the homeowner client’s availability (evenings and weekends, occasionally holidays)

  • Strong communication skills are essential; bilingual abilities are a plus!

  • Willingness to learn, memorize our proven scripts, and complete applicable training to enhance performance.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.

Compensation Package:

  • Approximated seasonal/summer earnings: $85,000 - $115,000 (includes commissions, performance bonuses, overrides, and profit-sharing opportunities).
