Direct Support Professional at Sevita summary:

Direct Support Professionals provide compassionate, community-based care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, behavioral challenges, and help participants achieve developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. This role requires patience, reliability, and strong communication skills, contributing to the growth and independence of those served.

Pay $16.00 per hour! Weekend positions available!

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SEVITA

• Education: High School Diploma not required
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
