Role Overview

We're hiring a driven Community Sales Rep to join our growing team and lead local sales efforts across the Seattle metro area. This role combines new business development with account management, perfect for an early- to mid-career sales professional (2–5 years of experience) who thrives on building relationships and executing in the field.

This position focuses on building strong client relationships, executing sales strategies, and delivering innovative solutions that align with Katú’s mission and financial goals. As a Community Sales Rep, you’ll oversee the sales process from prospecting to deal closure while fostering a customer-centric culture. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who thrives on collaboration and is eager to innovate in a dynamic sales environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Proactively sell Katú into new accounts including coffee shops, gyms, boutique grocers, co-working spaces, and more
  • Account Management: Maintain and grow existing customer relationships; ensure reorders, merchandising, and product education
  • Strategic Execution: Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets through strategic planning and collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations leadership
  • Consultative Selling: Listen to and evaluate customer needs to recommend tailored solutions using a consultative approach
  • Route Management: Use a route schedule to focus sales efforts in specific geographic zones each day, averaging 15–20 calls per day depending on appointment length and customer interaction
  • Field Mobility: Use personal vehicle to make sales calls and visit customers at their place of business
  • Event Support: Assist at local events and sampling activations as needed
  • Market Feedback: Provide real-time insights from the field to help inform strategy and innovation

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in CPG or food & beverage
  • Proven ability to manage a sales territory and drive new customer acquisition
  • Experience with or willingness to engage in door-to-door sales
  • Self-starter who excels at independent work and remote coordination
  • Must be based in the Seattle metro area and have reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary (50,000 - 70,000 DOE) plus commission
