Job Description

A school district in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide essential services for K-12 students. This full-time, contract position is available immediately and extends through the remainder of the school year, including Extended School Year (ESY) programs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students.
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to implement and monitor behavior strategies.
• Provide training and consultation to school personnel to promote positive behavioral support.
• Collect and analyze data to track student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to behavior.

Qualifications:

• Current BCBA certification.
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of current behavior analysis practices and educational regulations.
