Job Description

A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is sought for a K-12 school serving a high population of students with autism and emotional needs. This contract position, based in Frederick, MD, spans the upcoming school year beginning August 16.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold current BCBA certification
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience as a BCBA
• Demonstrated expertise working with students on the autism spectrum and those with emotional/behavioral challenges
• Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement behavior intervention plans

Location and Duration:

• Frederick, Maryland
• Contract position for the full school year, starting August 16

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop data-driven intervention plans tailored to diverse student needs
• Provide ongoing training and consultation to teachers and staff to ensure consistent implementation of behavior strategies
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary for optimal outcomes
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrative personnel to support student success and well-being
