Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDaily Operations Assist with coordination and execution of public karting, leagues, and group events Ensure the track and facility are ready and running efficiently during each shift Support opening and closing procedures including weather-related protocols Provide assistance with event timing, logistics, and driver briefings Monitor track and pit lane activity and address minor operational issues promptlyFront-Line Supervision Provide shift leadership for frontline team members including Track Marshals, Pit Crew, Cashiers, and Guest Services staff Assist with scheduling, break management, and on-the-floor training Lead by example and help foster a positive, team-focused work culture Support communication between shifts and escalate concerns to management as needed Guest Experience Greet guests and assist with check-in, waivers, and service questions Ensure guests are informed, engaged, and satisfied with their karting experience Handle complaints or service concerns professionally and promptly Promote safe and enjoyable racing for individuals, families, and group events Food & Beverage Oversight Assist in overseeing food and beverage operations at the Kart Track during active shifts Monitor cleanliness, stocking, and organization of the concession area Support food safety, sanitation standards, and service consistency Provide guidance to F&B staff on order management, guest flow, and presentation Assist with prepping, stocking, and light service duties when necessary during peak timesSafety and Facility Maintenance Enforce all track safety protocols and support emergency response procedures Monitor facility cleanliness and readiness across all guest areas Assist with reporting and minor maintenance issues to the GM or appropriate department Maintain operational supplies (helmets, suits, gear) and restock as neededAdministrative & Event Support Record shift notes, guest feedback, and incident reports as needed Assist with inventory tracking and team communication Provide onsite event support for birthday parties, corporate outings, and league events Occasionally assist with guest photo capture or social media contentQualifications and Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality, recreation, customer service, or food & beverage Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, team-first attitude Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy settings indoors and outdoors Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with POS systems, budgeting, scheduling, and Google workspace Passion for motorsports, events, or recreational experiences is a plusPhysical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and movement across large facility areas Exposure to seasonal weather and loud motorsports environments Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation Work Schedule & Conditions Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Hourly, non-exempt position with variable shifts based on operational demand May be required to support food, guest services, and event teams depending on needs Duties and responsibilities are subject to change to support business operations DisclaimersCompensation is based on experience and qualifications.
