About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our manufacturing team for (1st shift) , where precision and quality craftsmanship are paramount. In this role, you will assemble machine components by working from technical blueprints, using high-quality materials and advanced tools. What You'll Do
· Precision Assembly: Build machine parts and components into finished products following blueprints and technical drawings with accuracy.
· Tool Mastery: Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to create secure, precise assemblies.
· Blueprint Interpretation: Read and follow detailed technical instructions to ensure products meet exact specifications.
· Quality Control: Inspect, test, and adjust assembled components to guarantee flawless operation and meet quality standards.
· Maintenance Support: Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and promptly report equipment issues to keep production flowing.
· Safety Focus: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
· Team Collaboration: Work alongside machine operators, quality control, and supervisors to meet production goals and improve processes.
· Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot assembly challenges, contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
What You Bring
· 12 years experience in mechanical assembly, machine shop, or manufacturing environments.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
· Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
· Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
· Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative, proactive attitude.
· Organized with the ability to maintain detailed assembly documentation.
· Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking.
Preferred Qualifications
· Certification or training in mechanical assembly or manufacturing.
· Experience with pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
· Familiarity with quality control tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing or process improvement principles.
· Experience assembling complex or precision machine components.
